Step 1 – PRIME Lipids

Feed dry, ageing sensitive skin with a light facial oil that gives anti-wrinkle support and boosts firmness. It contains pure Ximenia oil with proven anti-ageing results to boost skin firmness and elasticity, and fight wrinkles. It also protects skin from irritants and reduces sensitivity.

Step 2 – PRIME Serum

A Hyaluronic moisture boost that drives facial oils into ageing, sensitive skin. It contains water-soluble actives including GABA, Hyaluronic acid, probiotic lysates and prebiotics to boost moisture content, leaving skin feeling younger and firmer.

The PRIME Lipids + PRIME Serum form part of a two-step moisturization routine – a Lipid phase (step 1) with oil-soluble actives and a Serum phase (step 2) with water-soluble actives. Take the PRIME Lipids and drop it into the palm of your hand. Then add Sapienic PRIME Serum and mix. You will see a creamy texture starting to form and can then apply to your face. This allows you to tailor the product to your needs as you make your moisturizer in the palm of your hand. On hot humid days you would only use two or three drops of PRIME Lipids, but in mid-winter you might need eight or nine. The amount of serum is a constant two pumps.

How it works

PRIME Lipids:

Ximenia Oil – Contains Ximenynic acid with a very rare triple bond that, when exposed to UV light or free radicals, reacts to form a protective polymer. Ximenia oil also contains more than 30% very long chain fatty acids. These are very similar to human sebum and help to form a protective layer on the skin.

PRIME Serum:

GABA and Acmella Extract relax facial muscles to reduce wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid boosts moisture levels and plumps skin. 1 million inactivated Lactobacillus bacteria modulate communication with skin cells while a blend of prebiotics favours beneficial members of the microbiome.

How to use it

Add 2 to 3 pumps of PRIME Serum to the palm of your hand and then add 2 to 4 drops for oily skin and 4 to 10 drops for dry skin of PRIME Lipids to the serum while in the palm of your hand and mix. Once a creamy texture forms, apply to your skin.

Future forward packaging

The outer carton is fully compostable, made from recycled card with an organic cotton tag.

The primary packaging is glass. We chose glass because it is more likely to be recycled and has no environmental impact if isn’t. The pump is polypropylene with aluminium trim.

The embodied carbon of the whole product, delivered to your door, is 509g and we have purchased carbon credits to offset this. There is 19.4g of plastic in the packaging and we have recovered an equivalent amount of plastic from the ocean to ensure plastic neutrality.

The COSMOS organic standards for personal care products audit both the raw materials and packaging used in the final product. We see these standards as a useful starting point, not as an end goal. Organic certification is the beginning of our assurance to you that the product that you’ve chosen is free of contaminants and synthetic chemicals … that it is healthier for your skin and better for the environment. There are many aspects of the standards that we feel should be even more stringent, but they still provide an audited baseline reassurance for our clients.

Vegan & Cruelty Free

We will not test our products on animals. We will not purchase raw materials from suppliers that test on animals or that contract with other entities that do. We will not use animal products of any kind in our range… not even beeswax.

Plastic Neutral

We use glass packaging where we can. It has high recycle rates and isn’t toxic in the environment.
We have not been able to find an alternative for plastic for our closures. To offset our plastic footprint, we have purchased offsets to prevent plastic from entering the ocean. This means the safe collection and recovery of ocean-bound plastic waste. The contribution supports clean environments and creates sustainable jobs.
We will extend and expand this project as we grow.
